Diski Dance

I have added a link on the right hand side to the Diski Dance tutorial on Youtube.....I haven't figured out how to put a link in a post yet obviously!!

Anyway, this is the dance that they have created & choreographed for the 2010 Soccer World Cup which for those of you who may not know, is going to be held in South Africa. It is modelled on soccer 'moves' - looks like fun:-)

Sani Pass - December

We had a really great trip up Sani yesterday. The hills are all looking lush and green, little waterfalls all over, and just so many flowers everywhere, even popping out from the cracks in the rock faces. I think I'm going to need to figure out how to use the "slide show" application - far too many photos to put them all up!

Some pics from the Basotho village...........

A couple of my flower pics........

The Lesotho pokers in full bloom at Sani Top; and these guys were going off to market down the pass.

Imfolozi & St Lucia

Loved all these little guys:-) This baby in the water with mom is only a couple of days old.

This is one of my favourite trees! It is called a sicklebush - it always blooms in December & I think the flowers look like Christmas decorations:-)

Awesome game viewing with Jen. These rhino were really close!

So excited to see these cheetah - there were four of them - this one crossed the road by us and then stopped to pose for photos:-)

Sani Pass, Lesotho

A couple of photos from Sani Pass last weekend.......

It was really misty coming up the Pass, and then we popped out above the cloud line into sunshine.

I loved the way all these sheep crossed this stream in a line,
following the horse! And there were lots of little lambs around:-)

Snow!

In mid September we had a big cold front, bringing snow to the Midlands. I took my son up to Boston to play in it - we had such fun! For those of you that have been on tour with me to Sani Pass, we passed through Boston on the way to Underberg - it is about 120 kms from Durban.
