Sani Pass, Lesotho

A couple of photos from Sani Pass last weekend.......


It was really misty coming up the Pass, and then we popped out above the cloud line into sunshine.

I loved the way all these sheep crossed this stream in a line,
following the horse! And there were lots of little lambs around:-)

Snow!

In mid September we had a big cold front, bringing snow to the Midlands. I took my son up to Boston to play in it - we had such fun! For those of you that have been on tour with me to Sani Pass, we passed through Boston on the way to Underberg - it is about 120 kms from Durban.

Emdoneni Lodge

This weekend, we were invited on an educational to Emdoneni Lodge which is situated near to Hluhluwe. They have a cat rehabilitation centre, and it was so awesome to see these beautiful animals up close. They currently have 2 Serval kittens whose mother they believe to have died from a snake bite, and so are hand rearing the kittens. I was lucky enough to be able to have a cuddle with these cute little guys:-)

They also have cheetah, caracal & African wildcat within the centre, and several species of other game who wander freely around the lodge.
